Becher Villa, Karlovy Vary
Originally, the villa was intented to be a family palace of Johann Gustav Becher, the owner of the world wide known liqueur factory. The Becher Villa was built in 1914, based on the project of an architect Karel Heller. The decoration includes exceptional interior paintings in Art Deco style. The object together with its garden is a part of recognized cultural heritage, in addition it belongs to officially registered protected sites.
In 2004, there was an attempt for reconstruction which was rather unsuccesful and almost resulted in historical degradation of the villa. These works must be removed within the present restoration project. GEMA ART GROUP provides restoration works on extant handicrafts and the façade.
