The pilgrimage Church of St. John of Nepomuk as a part of Cistercian Monastery was built by architect Jan Blažej Santini-Aichl in the peculiar Baroque-Gothic style in 1719 - 1722. Church surrounded by cloister is one of the splendours of Czech Baroque architecture and is registered within the UNESCO world heritage list. Long term rehabilitation and restoration project has been carried out in several phases since1999. Project included restoration of cloister (1999-2002), restoration of church (2004-2006) and historical reconstruction of cupola (2006-2008) and covered restoration of stucco, stone, historic renders, mural paintings, gilding and polychromed wood.
