The Baroque building from the 17th century was built by Count Václav Vojtěch of Šternberk and served as a summer residence. The original villa was added garden, terrace and farm buildings around the castle. Troja Chateau is exceptional for its two-staircase decorated with sculptures with ancient gods.

Since March 2018, we have carried out two restoration works:

Project I – The restoration of the outdoor two-armed main staircase

Project II – The restoration of a small outdoor garden staircase, the so-called Theatron, in the area of the Troja Chateau

The building is an immovable cultural monument registered in the Central List of Cultural Monuments located in the protected heritage area of the capital city of Prague. The works are carried out for the Gallery of the Capital City of Prague

The first phase of the reconstruction began in 2018 and the second in the year 2019. In addition to required construction works, the restoration of stone sculptures and artistic decorations continuously takes place.
