Historie rezidence Lyons Demesne se píše od roku 1785, kdy Lord Nicholas Cloncurry objednal dublinského architekta Olivera Gracee, aby navrhl úpravu stávajícího domu na honosné panské sídlo. Původní sídlo bylo postaveno již v 17. století. Pro nové čtyřtraktové panství bylo užito šedé irské žuly.
