U.S. Chief of Mission Residence, 2007 Prague

The Otto Petschek villa, where the US Chief of Mission Residence in Prague is located, is a major landmark of the beginning of 20th century architecture. This precious villa, built in 1924-1928, was designed by the famous architect Max Spielmann in the French Beaux Arts style. The restoration of the antique winter garden door at this historical building was carried out by our specialists.

Revitalization of the Fatah Chalabi House

The Fatah Chalabi House is located in a residential area of the Erbil Citadel, one of the longest permanently inhabited sites in the world, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2014. The revitalization of this historic house/palace was implemented on the basis of a contract with the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Since the project completion for more than ten years the Fatah Chalabi House became the registered office of the GEMA ART branch in Iraq.

Saint Louis Cemetery, New Orleans

Dům Fatah Chalabi (Fatáh Čalabí) se nachází v rezidenční čtvrti citadely v Erbilu, jedné z nejdéle trvale osídlených lokalit na světě, která byla v roce 2014 zapsána na seznam světového kulturního dědictví UNESCO. Projekt revitalizace tohoto historického domu/paláce byl realizován na základě smlouvy s Ministerstvem zahraničí ČR. Dům Fatah Chalabi se pak po dokončení prací stal na dobu 10 roků sídlem pobočky GEMA ART v Iráku.

Iraqi National Library and Archive – Course II, Iraq

After a one-year break caused by the global pandemic Covid-19, it was possible to implement an advance education program in Iraq only in 2021. The course was implemented on the basis of assistance from the Government of the Czech Republic, within the framework of the implementation of the Iraq Assistance Program. GEMA ART International prepared the course in close cooperation with the Czech National Heritage Institute and in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. The four-week course was held from September 5th to September 30th 2021 at the Iraqi Institute for the Conservation of Antiquities and Heritage (IICAH) based in Erbil.
